Equity is one of the most important parts of compensation and one of the least understood. This tool closes that gap.

Practitioner review guide

Walk through the portal as if you have never received an equity grant before. The point is to see whether a non-expert employee can follow the path without outside help.

• Can a first-time employee tell the difference between ISO, NSO, and RSU after reading the relevant section once?
• Is the vesting explanation clear about cliffs, monthly vesting, and what happens if the employee leaves before vesting?
• When the tool talks about value, is it honest about FMV, illiquidity, and the difference between strike price and current value?
• Are the tax caveats prominent enough that an employee would not assume the tool is giving tax advice?
• If an employee handed this output to a partner or family member, would it still make sense without further explanation?
